I just realized this thread exists. I am Yoshi2018. After 2 years of failing the demo, I finally played the game and I love it. I even started a guide! I started playing 2 months ago and have already amassed 157 starforce. I went to 74th on the leaderboard. I beat the demo. I bought all the alts. I got the best possible database. I can't wait to see what's next.

-Part 1: Met
Hyper Bomb twice. Boom (hah) you did it.

-Part 2: Cut and Metal
Spam Dive Missile for Metal, and Super Throw and charge shots for Cut.
Alt strategy: Mega Slide and Mega Ball to win!

-Part 3: aw jeez this one sucks (Orb City)
>Crash is weak to Wind and Shield, so the strategy for him is to switch to Proto and spam Skulls. Crash Bomber is a instant KO, so take him out as fast as possible.
>>Alt strategy: Proto Strike, then buster shot.
>Wood Man is weak to Cutter and Flame, so, first, use Bass Crush to weaken his tanky defenses. He is going to immediately use Leaf Shield, so charge the Bass Buster. Then, use the Bass Buster or Quick Boomerang, though the BB has more accuracy. May want to raise a Leaf Shield yourself to increase your defenses for a while.

Pray to whatever gods you may believe in that you get lucky with critical hits, and not the enemy (especially if the enemy if Oil or Elec. Those dudes are complete beasts. Once again, good heckin' luck, boy.

>PRAY that the Robot Masters don't EVER switch. Or if they do its Wood ==> Bubble
>Never, I repeat EVER put down Leaf Shield as Bass. That 40% defense increase saved me, man.

>Use the buster shot to save Weapon Energy where you can.
>Kill Heat Man as fast as possible. His atomic fire attack boosts really get stupid powerful.
>Don't switch to Bass while Fire is up. Bass has a fire weakness. Bleh.
>Don't let any your robots die before beating the second robot, usually Fire Man.
>Mega Slide has priority, like Quick Attack in pokemon.
>Bubble barely does any major damage, but you should still try to quickly get him out as he can be problematic because of his aimming powers with Bubble Lead. Pray he uses Bubble Spray more.
>Bright Burst lowers defenses, so you can use that to your advantage against the more tanky boys (mostly Wood and Heat)
>For some reason, you items don't come back. Why? I have no idea. This is very very very dumb, especially with how there is no demo shop.
>Don't forget that in the in-battle menu, you can charge your weapons for the cost of leaving your self open. This really helps a ton, believe it or not.
I think that abooout covers all you should know while doing this garbage mission. Once again, good luck, you will need it.

Hello is very nice that i found this page.I am fan of all Megaman Games and Megaman X series games.I am dude that love to play allot of megaman fangames.The most one i like was Megaman 4 Minus Infinty fangame.

I'm a massive fan of everything Mega Man (Hey, I can find at least some enjoyment out of the terrible games like X7) and stumbled across this... some time last year I think? I'm a big fan of rp'ing, and a self proclaimed theory-crafter (though how solid or well thought out they may be is debatable, I'm not flawless after all) so I'm a go to guy to talk about that kinda stuff. I'm [INSERT NAME HERE.] I played video games since I was like 3. My introduction to Mega Man was either MM2 or 8BDM. I wanted playable robot masters and that's why I'm here. I did not expect Pokemon styled combat in this thing but really should've expeceted it since Mega Man has alot of robot masters that are basically just the same robot masters but with different weapons.

Hi, I'm BenPlusYT. I am better known among the Mega Man Maker community (Hi Yoshi! Hi Mighty!) as BenPlusMM, but there's a reason I don't use that here. I made an account in 2018 after trying and failing to beat the demo, but lost the password after I got a new PC and made this account. My favorite RM obviously is Proto Man, since I am the oldest of my cousins that lives in my area, and I think it's pretty fitting. I hope to have a great time here, and I'll probably see all of you many, many times in the future.

@BenPlusYT : Hi, welcome to our community! I'm terribly, terribly sorry that you had to play through the demo; to be quite frank, it's easily one of the dour spots of Prototype and has been considered rather infamous for warding up and crushing a lot of potential rookies. It's a little counter-intuitive in that sense, but hopefully the actual game is doing you much better, and I commend you for continuing to play even after going through the demo.

Hello, my name is Colin, however here on Mega Man RPG Prototype, my username is ZeroDXZ, i have changed to RoseBlackDXZ to get a feel of changing pace thanks to the various updates here on the site.

I'm very glad to announce that i am 20 years old, and am a decently worthwhile veteran on this site.

On top of being a generally ok guy since my past mistakes having taught me to change and become a better me, i also have a decent hand in doing some forms of art. These art posts you can find in the Fan Art section of the site, however if you DM me i'd be very glad to share/post these arts for you there.

I play Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Sonic, and Mega Man... just to name a few games from here on. My favorite color is Dragon Ball Supers rendition of Rose, (which is oddly enough this sites rendition of crystal, which is a bright Pink/Magenta), i love animals, i like to listen to music, and watch Anime.

I hope we all get to know each other better and can make a better future as potential friends in the future.
