This is where the 3rd installment of the PMMCT took place, where the greatest Mega Man Character ever [at least, for now], was decided on by you, the people of Prototype.
There was 96 characters this time around, too.
Here's how it went down: In each battle, I posted pairs of characters, and the people of Prototype voted for their favorite character in each pair. Not who they thought would WIN that fight, but, which one they liked more than the other. VOTERS HAD TO HAVE VOTED IN ALL BATTLES THAT TOOK PLACE IN THAT ROUND, OR THEIR ENTIRE VOTE WAS NULL AND VOID.
Voters could edit their votes as much as they wanted, but, after 11:59 PM, all votes were final. The winners of each battle advanced to the next round. In the case of any ties, your truly made the deciding vote, like I always did, and, of course, I barred myself from voting, otherwise, like I always did.
The 12 characters that won their divisions faced off against each other in the Grand Division, the final Division of the Tournament, where they did battle against each other. The winner of THAT Division won the title of "Greatest MM Character Of All Time [at least, for now]".

Quick Man. Both are great, but in terms of a RM overall, Quick Man is a cut above the rest. #notsorry Gemini Man. I don't get the love for Enker, honestly. I mean, I love all MMKs, but Enker's my least favorite. Vile. On paper, Sunstar is crazy cool, but as far as implementation and potential as a character? Vile. Vile by a long shot.
Cut Man, for I shall still continue to support Cuts Corner. Gemini Man, for I will also support his things for the sake of keeping him out of my work area. Sunstar. Because again... Space. Destruction. Robot.
The Grand Division, Round 2: Quick Man vs. Cut Man (5-5) Gemini Man vs. Enker (5-5) Vile vs. Sunstar (7-3)
OK, the 1st one is easy. I don't like Quick Man. he's a complete pushover, and easier to no-damage. I also don't like his cheapo force beams. In fact, I think I've stated that, before. Easy Cut Man vote.
Seeing as I know a LOT more about one than I know about the other, and we're at an important stage of the Tourney, now, I decided to do more research than just MMKB-ing. Based on this research, I painfully make the vote for Gemini Man on the grounds that he just seems more interesting to fight, overall, really. Sorry for being a World series noob.
This last one is also easy. Vile is a disgusting piece of crap who--if you're like me and didn't bother with Maverick Hunter X 'cause you knew better after Powered Up--can't fight in any meaningful way whatsoever without a Ride Armor. That's a fact. Sunstar.....has pure power on his side on this one.

So now.....huh? What do you mean? There's THREE?

The CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE! Cut Man vs. Gemini Man vs. Sunstar
This is the big one, so make it count. If there's a tie for the lead, I get to break it.
WHOA! I was expecting one of the three to wait until next round, but this is a plot twist!
Now, Sunstar is great and all, but the only reason I've given him a chance is because he's a Space Robot of Mass Destruction. But... That doesn't seem to help in his problem of lack of appearances in the long run.
As for Cut Man... I only supported him because of Cuts Corner. But lets be honest... He looks like Mega Man, has a pair of scissors on his head, and is weak to Mega Buster of all things. The ONLY good stance he has in terms of ACTUAL Mega Man media (NOT fan-comics like Cuts Corner) is that he has at least one meme to his name. Which ALSO doesn't really help out in the long run.
My final vote is Gemini Man, but only because he brings up the interesting concept of fighting two people at once.

Gemini Man. Personally, I don't get how Cut made it this far. He's an iconic RM, but he's far from my favorite.
I initially thought I was going to go for Sunstar hands-down, but after considering it, there's just something I like about Gemini Man. Might be a combination of the cool crystal-shard design and his cloning ability, but he just....stands out to me when compared to Sunstar. Maybe voting for a doomsday weapon would be too easy? Iunno.
Wowie, alright... Cut Man is a fun robot master and a fun fight, but sure isn't the best, good weapon, at least... Gemini Man is a strange robot, has a fun personality, and his weapon is unique, but ehhh... Now...Sunstar, maaaan, Sunstar. He has to be the best final boss in the entire mega man series. All weapons do 1 damage to him, even charge shots, a amazing theme, and, like Ballade, has a unique, interesting, and awesome story of redemption. Along with all of this, he is the only final boss in the entire classic series that ISN'T Wily. Also, for bonus points, his name in japanese literally means SUNGOD. If a robot master seriously wins this, I will be greatly disappointed.
