This is where the 3rd installment of the PMMCT took place, where the greatest Mega Man Character ever [at least, for now], was decided on by you, the people of Prototype.
There was 96 characters this time around, too.
Here's how it went down: In each battle, I posted pairs of characters, and the people of Prototype voted for their favorite character in each pair. Not who they thought would WIN that fight, but, which one they liked more than the other. VOTERS HAD TO HAVE VOTED IN ALL BATTLES THAT TOOK PLACE IN THAT ROUND, OR THEIR ENTIRE VOTE WAS NULL AND VOID.
Voters could edit their votes as much as they wanted, but, after 11:59 PM, all votes were final. The winners of each battle advanced to the next round. In the case of any ties, your truly made the deciding vote, like I always did, and, of course, I barred myself from voting, otherwise, like I always did.
The 12 characters that won their divisions faced off against each other in the Grand Division, the final Division of the Tournament, where they did battle against each other. The winner of THAT Division won the title of "Greatest MM Character Of All Time [at least, for now]".
If there are any questions, please post them either in here, PM me here on Prototype, or look for me in the Prototype Chat; I'm usually there every day.

Oh, yes! This is one tie I don't mind breaking.
Division 11 Final [Over at 11:59 PM, EST, 4/21/2017]: Albert Wily vs. Ring Man (3-3)
It's like this, right? I'm not supposed to be the only one telling you all to vote in this thing. You're also supposed to link this thread to other members in the Chat [reasonably, of course] and tell them to vote for their favorite characters. Without votes, a character can't win.....again, as I'm about to prove.
Ring Man is betterer, awesomer and coolerer than Wily every day of the year.
Division 11 Final [Over at 11:59 PM, EST, 4/21/2017]: Albert Wily vs. Ring Man (4-3)
.....and just like that, Ring Man dethrones the defending Champion on a tiebreak. Crazy, right?
So, who will he face in the Grand Division? Let's see.
I'm actually quite shocked that Wily got taken down. Maybe some of my favorites have a chance after all...
...Moving to the present.
Zero. Blizzard Man wasn't that memorable. Higsby. Doc Robot in the games wasn't too memorable either. Star Man. Again, another not so memorable opponent. Sunstar. Was a really tough choice, since each one was slightly memorable. Skull Man is pretty easy to beat, though, so I'll give this one to Sunstar.
Blizzard Man, because while I don't hate Zero as a character, and the fact that he's DWN-Infintiy is actually a really nice plot twist and he can be rather fun to play as, but I personally have something to say about him. The reason that I voted for Blizzard over Zero, no offense... *mental preparation*
Is that ZERO IS ONE OF THE MOST OVERRATED CHARACTERS IN THE ENTIRE SERIES! Sure, he's existed ever since X1, but through the SNES trillogy, he pretty much only exists to look cooler than X and generally outshines the MAIN FREAKING CHARACTER. In X1, he gets kiled, but I didn't feel that much remorse for him because for some reason I didn't feel emotions when playing video games other than excitement. Plus, I even managged to grab the buster upgrade from his corpse, which was a bonus. In X2, He is literally only there as a plot device. Not a very good one, but a plot device nonetheless. In X3, you FINALLY get to play as him, but if he dies ONCE, he's through, and he can't even fight bosses because the shutters rarely open for him! In X4 onwards, while this is a minor gripe of mine, he can't use his buster for some silly reason. Sure, it's satisfying to melee the crap out of things, but it gets monotonous. Blizzard, however, is a robot master and doesn't really NEED to be fleshed out in character that much IMO, and he has a generally fair fight, paired with the DEVESTATING range of his Blizzard Attack weapon, which is underrated in my book.
Alright, I've calmed down...
Higsby because he is pure comic relief and his NetNavi kicks (REGGAE'D)s left and right.
Copy Robot because he can transform into pretty much ANY robot and is a snarky, sarcastic wise(REGGAE'D). Having the accent(?) of any robot master he copies is also a plus, with him even sounding like a deep-voiced sherrif as Fire Copy, and can even make up a whole rematch chamber. Yep, in MMPU, when you refight the robot masters, you fight COPY ROBOT pretending to be them.

Zero. I may vote against him sometime down the road just due to the fact that other characters deserve a chance, but not against Blizzard Man. Higsby. There's just something super-lovable about Higsby as a character. Pitted against a lifeless character like Doc Robot, Higsby definitely outshines him. Copy Robot. I've always kinda liked Copy in the sense that he's like Megaman's Dark Link, as opposed to a rival figure, which is Bass. I don't think he was meant to be like that until MMPU gave him a personality, but that's enough to set him apart from Star Man imo. Sunstar. Sunstar is such a mysterious character that it's a pity he's never expanded on. Not only is he a doomsday weapon from space whose origin is vague at best (although I guess that's the case with most Stardroids), but he also exhibited a capacity for introspection and change that few of Megaman's robotic enemies show. And he's a doomsday weapon. I doubt there were plans to improve on Sunstar, and that's understandable. The intrigue, however, is enough to win him my vote.
Zero. Does this seriously need an explanation? Doc Robot. Again, he's one I have more familiarity with. (Also, he was an interesting concept Capcom brought into MM3.) Copy Robot. He practically became a favorite of mine as of recently (oddly enough), so why not support him even further? Sunstar. Pitting a shield-based robot master against a space robot created for destruction as a doomsday weapon? Seems like an unfair match.
Zero - As much as I'm not fond of overrated characters, I still prefer him over Higsby, mostly design-wise... Sunstar - Yet another one-sided matchup, I mean, another shield robot against a galactic doomsday weapon?
Long story short, I'm jumping off the bandwagons this time.
Let's be honest for a moment, Zero as a character is pretty good, but I do not like how fans have portrayed him in fan recreations and games of the Classic series. So I might be going against the bandwagon here, but I will vote for Higsby instead. Star Man. They are both space bots, yes, but I think I will go against the Sunstar bandwagon.
Higsby."I may vote against [Zero] sometime down the road just due to the fact that other characters deserve a chance." Also, Higsby's pretty great. Sunstar. If I voted Sunstar over Skull Man, Star Man isn't gonna change that.
