Anyone here ever heard of Make Your Move on the Smashboards? It's A sort of competition where the users there can create a Super Smash Bros. moveset for any character they can imagine, even if they aren't from Nintendo games, or video games in general!
That's basically the premise here. You're tasked with creating MMRPG Prototype statistics for a character not yet featured in-game. This could be a character from the Mega Man X, Zero, ZX, Legends, Battle Network, or Star Force subseries, a 'bot from other media, or a fan project. Unlike Make Your Move, this is purely for fun, but you can comment on each other's movesets (Just keep any criticisms constructive!).
Note that whatever characters you create probably won't added to the game. Adrian's got his work cut out for him as it is!
A complete moveset MUST contain the character's... -...Name, and what game they come from. -...Core Type (Cutter, Flame, etc.) Determines what MMRPGP moves the character can use. Usually related from what moves the charter uses in their game, their appearance, and what weapons/gear you get from them. -...Attack(How much damage they deal), Defense(How much damage they take), and Speed(How fast the robot moves to attack, and how accurate their attacks are). You have 300 points to spend on each stat. -...Weakness(What moves do double damage to them) and Resistances(What moves to half damage to them). Give your 'bot two each. -...Affinity(Moves heal them), OR Immunity(Moves that do no damage to them). Give ONLY one of either.
You could also add some extra bits to add some flair to your character, such as... -...A numerical designation(i.e. Proto Man is DLN-000) -...A class. If you've played Pokémon, these are like the little sub-designations in the Pokedex entries(i.e. Pikachu is the Electric Mouse Pokémon, Proto Man is the Renegade Prototype Robot). They can describe the character's personality, abilities or job. -...Quotes for when the character enters battle, taunts their opponent, wins or losses. Can be derived from their source material, or interpreted from their personality.
If you have any confusion on what a moveset looks like, I'd recommend checking out some examples in the Database. I hope to see plenty of cool ideas for characters!
EDIT: In order to make this topic a little more interesting (I mean, the last post was over a year ago), it is now open to characters from ALL video games, not just Mega Man.
EDIT 2: In celebration of the field-centric Star Force Update, you can now create fan-made fields! I mean, what's the point of making bunch of awesome fan-made robots without some place for them to kick each other's butts?
A complete field MUST contain...
-The field's name. Composed of two words or phrases (three if you're pushing it, don't even think about four). -What game (Mega Man or otherwise) the field comes from. -The Field's primary core type. -The field's multipliers (Core types, damage, recovery, experience). Primary core type gets an automatic x2 multiplier. -The Robot (fan-made or otherwise) associated with the field. -The Mecha (fan-made or otherwise) associated with the field.
Optional:
-A short description of what the field looks like (1-2 sentences is good). -Music that plays during battle (link to YouTube or another video/music-sharing website).

I knew I left the next Shovel Knight bio around here somewhere...oh, that blasted Treasure Knight must have made off with it! That greedy snake will get what's coming to him one day... --- Name: Treasure Knight Designation: OQN-003 Class: Avaricious Pirate Robot Core: Water
Weaknesses: SpaceExplode Resistances: WindFlame Immunities: Water Affinities: None
Energy: 92 Attack: 93 Defense: 143 Speed: 72
Quotes Start: "Let us battle...winner take all." Taunt: "Sink and drown....With all the treasures of the deep." Victory: "All of the treasure...is only for me...no one else." Defeat: "The gold...it shines...so bright..."
Signature Moves Treasure Anchor Learned at Level: 1 Power: 17 Accuracy: 95% Speed: 3 Energy: 4 Range: Front Description: The user fires an anchor on a chain at the target, then pulls it back to them. This ability fires twice (Once for the initial firing, then again while the anchor is coming back). Upon contact, there is a 5% chance that this move will also steal an item from the target's inventory, which the user shall immediately use.
Treasure Box Learned at Level: 20 Power: 60 Accuracy: 25% and up Speed: 2 Energy: 8 Range: Front Description: The user throws down an empty treasure chest, which opens and generates a whirlpool to pull in the target. If the move is successful, the chest slams shut and bursts, dealing massive damage to the target. He fights with all sorts of underhanded trickery, including his signature anchor cannon, which has become all but famous for catching his opponents off guard. With no respect for anything except his gold, Treasure Knight is one fellow you do not want to cross...or he'll rob you blind.

Time for the next member of the Order of No Quarter...haha ha. I spent all night awake on this one...HA! It's the explosives expert of the crew, Plague Knight! --- Name: Plague Knight Designation: OQN-004 Class: Vitriolic Alchemy Robot Core: Explode
Quotes Start: "Haha...hahahaha! It's time that someone taught you a lesson!" Taunt: "Who's the fool now, fool?! Seems like I've fooled you! Ha ha!" Victory: "Bad...bad bad bad...bad people get punished! The sooner you learn that, the less painful life will be." Defeat: "Hee...hee hee..." *Hack hack* "You haven't...heard the last of me...!" *Wheeze*
Signature Moves Plague Vial Learned at Level: 1 Power: 10 Accuracy: 92% Speed: 3 Energy: 4 Range: Front Description: The user throws a chemical vial at the target that explodes violently on contact. It does no damage on contact, but at the beginning of every turn thereafter, the target will take damage multiplied by the number of times they've been hit with this attack (e.g., if hit 5 times, they take 50 power's worth of damage). Removing the target from the front for two turns will reduce the count by 1.
Plague Beaker Learned at Level: 15 Power: 50 Accuracy: 100% Speed: 3 Energy: 8 Range: Select Description: The user places an oversized beaker of a dangerous chemical in front of one ally of choice (Including themselves), acting as a "shield." Whenever they are next hit, the beaker violently explodes, dealing damage to both the attacker and the ally.
Description: Plague Knight was originally a schoolteacher, but after he was found with dangerous materials in the classroom, he was promptly kicked out. After hearing of the Enchantress and her Order of No Quarter, he decided to use this chance to get revenge on those who stole his credentials and obtain dangerous and rare liquids for science! He uses dangerous combinations for attacks, and sometimes uses a colossal beaker for protection! With a maniacal attitude and a crave for creating explosive blasts, this guy's more of a mad scientist then a Knight!

You know, this collaboration is starting to make me think the shovel truly is the best digging tool weapon. Eh? Apparently Mole Knight disagrees with that notion. -- Name:Mole Knight Designation: OQN-OO5 Class: Subterranean Tunneling Robot Core: Flame
Quotes Start: "How'd you get here? Never mind! This land is mine, I found it!" Taunt: "The secrets of the Earth are all for me....I'm the only worthy Knight for it!" Victory: "With your measly skills, I'd bet you couldn't dig 10 feet underground!" Defeat: "This isn't so bad....At least I'll be buried with my rightfully deserved land..."
Signature Moves Mole Glide Learned at Level: 1 Power: 8/11 Accuracy: 96% Speed: 3 Energy: 2 Range: First 6 rows Description: The user uses their customized claws to glide through the six first rows, dealing damage to each robot. After four attacks, the user will drop down and slide, dealing slightly more damage. If there is less than 6 robots, the user will reappear on the first row and go up from there, until six hits have been done.
Mole Eruption Learned at Level: 23 Power: 4/55 Accuracy: 90% Speed: 1 Energy: 8 Range: All Description: The user digs through the ground, bringing up small flame sparks that do damage to all robots, albeit weak. If the user chooses to use this weapon again, they'll repeat the process, except this time, the user bursts into flames and erupts, doing significantly more damage.
Description: While the shovel is the best digging tool/weapon for the world above, below is a different story, one that belongs to Mole Knight. Not only does the shrewd Mole Knight have great eye-sight and endurance, he also has his modified armored claws, which he can use to dig, glide across the air, and release a giant explosion of flames! Serving as the best man in the underground for the Order of No Quarter, he mainly joined the Order because he felt he'd make the best progress underground with their supplies. With his powerful flame attacks, his claws, his powerful mole army, and the Lost City under his command, the mole may prove to be the only thing to out-dig the shovel. ---

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's an airship! No, it's Propeller Knight! This high flier is my favorite Knight in the game. I hope I did him justice! --- Name: Propeller Knight Designation: OQN-006 Class: Flying Machinery Robot Core: Wind
Quotes Start: "Oh, you would like to duel? Very well, then! En garde!" Taunt: "I'm as light as a feather, I'm as free as a bird! I'm too high to be brought down!" Victory: "High above the land, the earth so far away...this is where I belong!" Defeat: "How uplifting...how riveting!...Thank you...for the duel..."
Signature Moves Propeller Thrust Learned at Level: 1 Power: 15 Accuracy: 92% Speed: 3 Energy: 4 Range: Front Description: The user pulls the target towards them with a gust of wind, then stabs at them with a rapier. If the move connects successfully, it activates again, targeting the next foe in line, up to three times. If there are less than three members left on the opponent's team, this ability shall cycle back around to the first target in line.
Propeller Airstrike Learned at Level: 20 Power: 25 Accuracy: 90% Speed: 3 Energy: 8 Range: Random Description: The user summons a mighty airship to rain down an assault of cannonballs and bombs on the opposing team. This move hits three randomly selected Robots on the enemy team, receiving the full damage as if they were in front regardless of position. If there are only two foes left, one of them will randomly be hit twice, and if there remains only one foe, they shall receive the full three blasts of the attack.
Description: Propeller Knight used to be a simple adventurer a lot like Shovel Knight, but ever since he purchased an airship with the money from his conquests, he's become a member of high society—in more ways than one. He is an avid fencer, and he couples his skills with his blade with his cutting-edge propeller helmet to deftly soar through the air. Though he acts very prideful and considers himself one to be looked up to, he is also known for being a thrill-seeker, and respects anyone who can show him a good time. He cares not for the Enchantress's objective; he only serves her because he thought it would be fun. In truth, he feels he already achieved his dream—the dream of soaring freely through the air.

I suppose it's time to post the next Moveset. Might as well watch some TV while I'm doing....Since when does the Power button make my TV a giant death robot? Someone must have tinkered with it and I can only think of one person! Tinker Knight! Well, him or Dr. Wily, but I didn't make a moveset for Wily... --- Name: Tinker Knight Designation: OQN-007 Class: Fiddling Machinist Robot Core: Impact
Quotes Start: "All that noise....I can't focus! I'll get rid of the noises by getting rid of you!" Taunt: "They all thought I was pathetic and weak....and I'll show them all soon! Victory: "I warned you my plan was foolproof!" Defeat: "No one...appreciates...true genius...!"
Signature Moves Tinker Lob Learned at Level: 1 Power: 14 Accuracy: 95% Speed: 1 Energy: 2 Range: Front Description: The user flings a wrench at the opponent. There is a 20% chance of the opponent getting stunned by the attack, a 50% chance of no added side effects to this attack, and a 30% chance the user will fall on their face and lose 3 units of weapon energy.
Tinker Build Learned at Level: 18 Power: N/A Accuracy: N/A Speed: N/A Energy: 8 Range: N/A Description: The user starts to build a giant combat-robot machine for 3 turns, and if they are uninterrupted, they will enter the machine and pilot it, boosting their attack by 200% their defense by 100%, and their speed 50%. However, a setback to this attack is while building the machine, all of the user’s stats are divided in half for them to focus on building it, leaving them susceptible to attacks. The user can switch out however, but this does not protect them from attacks with the range of select. This attack only lasts 5 turns, which means the user will have to redo the technique all over again if they wish to fight in this form again after the 5 turns.
Tinker Annihilation Learned at Level: 19 Power: 32 Accuracy: 84% Speed: 1 Energy: N/A Range: Select Description: The user fires off a large amount of ammo at the opponent, dealing incredible explosive power! However, this attack is only usable under the effects of Tinker Build, but it doesn't waste weapon energy!
Description: In this world of adventuring, warriors all over the world rush into battle! However, one knight is not the same way, he fights before the battle, creating diabolical devices to fight for him, and this knight's name is Tinker Knight! Although short in stature, Tinker Knight is quite a danger on the battlefield, and if it seems he's weak, such as using his large supply of wrenches to battle, it's only because he has a dangerous trick hiding in the wings! Tinker Knight is the main mechanic of the Order of No Quarter, and his reason for joining is the belittling he gets from other people because of his small size, he wanted to get revenge on all of those who called him the "little man". Tinker Knight's choice of weaponry, the wrench, can truly open up so many possibilities, ranging from weak devices to devastating death-machines! Even though he is the smallest member of the Order of No Quarter, he's arguably the biggest threat, and when he's working on his machines, it seems there's no hope left. Well, maybe if you make a big enough distraction.....

Out in the cold....Shoveling for the Winter. Wait, wrong introduction! Well, might as well enter for our good old Polar Knight, the mysterious warrior out in the cold.....
Quotes Start: "True warriors speak with their weapons, {target_robot}." Taunt: "...The bitter cold will claim you." Victory: "I am without equal. You had your chance to flee." Defeat: "...It has been too long...since I was bested..."
Signature Moves Polar Snowball Learned at Level: 1 Power: 4/30 Accuracy: 94% Speed: 1 Energy: 2 Range: Front Description: The user digs up two snowballs to throw at the opponent. The user can either leave it on to damage the opponent each turn for up to 10 turns, or they can select the attack again and rush at the opponent, dealing massive damage!
Polar Spike Learned at Level: 20 Power: 6/18/38 Accuracy: 100% Speed: 2 Energy: 6 Range: Front Row Description: The user digs up spikes below the first robot for damage every turn. Any robot that switches in will get triple the damage the opponent would usually get from this attack. If this attack is used again, Polar Knight will raise his shovel and an avalanche will attack the first 4 robots, dealing massive damage! However, the spikes will be covered by the avalanche.
Description: Polar Knight, a behemoth of a Knight, haunts a wrecked ship among the icebergs in the South. With his massive snow-shovel, he can dig up balls of snow and deadly icicles, then hammer his opponent with powerful attacks while they're off-guard. He used to be a proud and unbreakable warrior, but he began to serve the Enchantress since those days, with his reasons unknown. Though he appears cold, uncivilized, brutish, and harsh, he would do anything to help those he cares about—especially for Shovel Knight, with whom he shares a bond of kinship. Strong and merciless, Polar Knight is shrouded in mystery, like he is shrouded in the cold air. ---

You know, after looking through a bunch of videogames....So many main characters have evil doppelgangers. I kinda wish Shovel Knight had one.....Wait! Black Knight apparently fills that role! And he says that Shovel Knight is HIS doppelganger. Whatever you say, Wario Shadow BassBlack Knight!
Quotes Start: “I follow only myself! I need no help from others, for I am the mightiest Knight!” Taunt: “Stop your meddling! I tire of your charades, I shall eliminate you by myself!” Victory: “My power is second to none! Facing me by your lonesome shall always lead to a ruinous path!” Defeat: “Truly, to have been bested….From this day forth, I shall follow you into battle!
Signature Moves Dark Burst Learned at Level: 1 Power: 5x3 Accuracy: 95% Speed: 4 Energy: 3 Range: Select Description: Black Knight’s take on the Shovel Slash, the user fires a medium-sized blast, three times, and while weak by itself, all three blasts will do decent damage.
Dark Bounce Learned at Level: 10 Power: 17 Accuracy: 93% Speed: 2 Energy: 4 Range: Front Description: The user leaps upon the target, striking them from above with a shovel. If the target used a defensive or support ability in the same round, this attack’s power will go up to 22, and it’s accuracy up to 100%.
Dark Meteor* Learned at Level: 20 Power: 40 Accuracy: 88% Speed: 1 Energy: 10 Range: All Description: The user summons meteors to the Battlefield, damaging every robot for massive damage! However, this attack will waste all your energy, regardless of weapon energy reductions from same core type or learning from level.
Dark Archangel Learned at Level: 40 Power: N/A Accuracy: N/A Speed: 1 Energy: N/A Range: Self Description: If The Enchantress or any two numbers of the Order of No Quarter are on your team, The user gains a power boost and a set of wings, meaning the user’s stats are boosted twice their original amount and Earth attacks will become an immunity(Dual-Core Earth attacks are exempt.) Besides that, Dark Burst and Dark Bounce are used twice if selected, and Dark Meteor uses half it’s normal weapon amount. The user cannot switch under the effects of these attacks, and it can only be used for 4 turns, and has a cooldown period of 3.
Description: As the yin to Shovel Knight’s yang, the Black Knight is a powerful warrior known throughout the land, who calls only himself master. With his obsidian armor he’s known for and his shovel, Black Knight has an assortment of dark attacks and powers, utilizing his shovel in the same way Shovel Knight does, albeit with minor differences. While Shovel Knight is at his prime when teaming up attacks with Shield Knight, Black Knight has never attempted to try such things, although one might assume he would achieve great power if he ever did. Despite having defended the Enchantress is the past, he claims neutrality in the affair, and his only desire seems to be to best Shovel Knight in combat. In spite of his cruel exterior, he appears to go a long way back with both Shovel Knight and Shield Knight, and cares for them both very much. ...Then again, he allegedly murders and pillages, so who knows for sure?*Dark Meteor is Shadow and Space Dual-core, to be clear.

Shovel Knight is a really fun game with a lot to do. A fistful of bonus bosses, replayable stages, and a number of achievements. But when it comes down to it, the Hero must smite evil and destroy the Villain. And there...lurking in the deepest, darkest recesses of the Tower of Fate...the Villain awaits...in the form of The Enchantress. --- Name: The Enchantress Designation: AFN-001 (Agent of Fate Number 001) Class: Ruinous Sorceress Core: Crystal
Quotes Start: "If you truly wish to face me...Then we shall dance together into the abyss~! Taunt: "You chase ghosts. You pine for people and times that are dead and gone. How pathetic." Victory: "This entire land is headed to ruin...and there is nothing you can do to stop it." Defeat: "This body is fading? It can't...You will not escape your fate, we will both go down!"
Signature Moves Flame of Ruin Learned at Level: 1 Power: 15 Accuracy: 100% Speed: 3 Energy: 2 Range: Front Description: The user hurls a ball of magical flame at the target. For each time this ability is used in succession, it activates one time more, but also costs the proportional amount of Energy (e.g., on its third use, it fires 3 times and costs 6 energy).
Chaotic Curse Learned at Level: 15 Power: 1%-10% Accuracy: 100% Speed: 3 Energy: 4 Range: Select Description: The user casts a curse that whittles away at the target, randomly reducing their Attack, Defense, or Speed by a random percentage, between 1% and 10%. The curse continues until the target is disabled or Chaotic Curse is used on another target (But not if the user is disabled!).
Nightmare Impact Learned at Level: 20 Power: 18 Accuracy: 100% Speed: 6 Energy: 4 Range: Select(5) Description: The user burns the ground on 5 robots of their choosing for three turns. The hit targets will have their Power dwindle down by 1-6% each turn until the three turns have passed. If Chaotic Curse is used on a robot with this status effect, the damage will rise up to 30, although their status condition will be up.
Terrible Fate Learned at Level: 30 Power: 50 Accuracy: 100% Speed: 1 Energy: 8 Range: Self Description: The user primes themselves for destruction in a last-ditch effort to destroy their foes. Upon death, the user will send out a wave of pure energy at every enemy, hitting for massive damage.
Description: Out of all the cruel beings in this world, none compare to the Enchantress. As she occupies the Tower of Fate ever since it's dramatic unsealing, she and her Order of No Quarter have been attempting to bring the world into a new age of chaos and ruin. Despite her mystifying and enchanting appearance, she's more brutal then any knight out there, having a whole dimension apart of her and the other knights out there in terms of power and cleverness. Warriors who have faced her have cowered even before the battle, due to her unsettling dialogue. The source of her grand and terrible magical powers appear to be the amulet around her neck, proving this could be a weak spot of sorts. Her motives are foreign, but her presence feels correct and familiar, expected, even....

Quotes Start: "I am here to shield the defenseless from harm! No evil will pass through my shield!" Taunt: "A good defense makes a great offense!" Victory: "As long as I'm still here, no innocent shall be harmed!" Defeat: "I've made a mistake...in protecting everyone else, I forgot to protect myself..."
Signature Moves Shield Rush Learned at Level: 1 Power: 10 Accuracy: 100% Speed: 5 Energy: 2 Range: Front Description: The user rushed at the opponent to damage them! Although the power is low, the move is quite fast, covers two types, and the Defense stat is boosted by 17%!
Shield Rise Learned at Level: 10 Power: N/A Accuracy: N/A Speed: 3 Energy: 4 Range: Select (One ally) Description: The user leaps into the air and hovers there, keeping a shield held up as a platform. An ally on the bench uses this as a platform to jump up and hit the foes with another attack. Note that while the player chooses who gets to use the shield, the ability the selected ally will use is random!
Shield Reverse Learned at Level: 20 Power: 23 Accuracy: 95% Speed: 3 Energy: 8 Range: Select Description: The user throws a large buckler shield at the target for a fairly large amount of damage. This leaves the user defenseless, unable to use this ability again and with their Defense decreased by 50%, but after the following turn, the shield will boomerang back around, hit the target once again, and fly back to the user.
Description: The best offense can sometimes be a good defense, and Shield Knight took that philosophy to heart. Shovel Knight's former partner in adventuring, they went on many grand adventures, until one day, the duo found a mystical treasure. Despite Shovel Knight's warning of the danger, Shield Knight ventured on, but was ultimately unprepared for the sudden ambush ahead. Shield Knight preferred to fight with her Shield, another unconventional weapon, focusing on either blocking with her astounding defense or attacking with it! Shield Knight is even better with allies such as Shovel Knight, blocking her teammates then helping them defeat the opponent! Shield Knight was confident and tenacious, although reckless at times, which led to her assumed demise. While Shovel Knight was in depression due to the loss of his teammate, a new force attacked the land, with their base of operation being the newly-unsealed Tower of Fate, the place where Shield Knight disappeared. With a new resolve on his mind, Shovel Knight sent out to find answers and to save the land! And so, our adventure began! --- And with this, our journey is over. Really, that's it. You...you can go home now. ...Bonus bosses? What's a bonus boss?

@MetaKibSter: Hey, don't be a tuna-head. xColdxFusionx is a good guy, and this is no way to greet him after he's been gone for so long. Plus, I made this thread, so I'm a tad offended. >:(
I might as well post something here, hasn't been updated in a while.
I'd like to introduce....Poison Man! He's a fan-made robot, and he has a certain obsession with poisonous gases and such. In other words...He's fascinated in ways you can poison yourself. Eh, I've seen weirder obsessions.
Start: "The world may have clean air, but just IMAGINE the joy of pure poison in the air-Gak! Taunt: "Phosphine, Germane, Diborane, Bromine! So many ways to suffocate the brain-Gak!" Victory: "Haha! Doesn't your air sack feel SO MUCH better with all that beautiful poison in you-Gak!" Defeat: "Gak! I'm starting to feel a little sick-Gak....
Signature Moves
Poison Release Learned at Level: 1 Power: 5x? Accuracy: 96% Speed: 4 Energy: 2 Range: Select Description: The user releases a gas, doing damage for up to 5 turns! The amount of turns can be increased by constantly using the move.
Poison Spread Learned at Level: 7 Power: 8x? Accuracy: 93% Speed: 2 Energy: 4 Range: Front Description: The user fires off a larger dose of poison, catching on to the opponent. However, if the contaminated opponent switches, it spreads to the two robots on the side of the switched robot.
Roboenza Learned at Level: 10 Power: N/Ax[1-4 turns] Accuracy: 100% Speed: 1 Energy: 6 Range: Front Description: A dumbed down version of Wily’s poisonous infection. If used, there is a random chance of the opponent not using a move, and simply damaging itself. This status ranges from 1 to 4 turns.
Description: Created by Dr. Wily to be used as a threat to the world, Poison Man was the first of Wily’s “Revamped” line. Unfortunately, Dr. Wily decided to call quits on the project, declaring that he was “too old for dealing with world conquest”. Poison Man had a wide potpourri of poison, and although the effects of the gases he uses have been dumbed down so as not to kill, it makes up for that flaw by being able to effect robots. Poison Man is obsessed with poison, often forgetting the deadly nature, which has given him a high immunity to poison. Poison Man loves spreading the joy of poison, and he suffers from a flaw in his I.C chip that makes him say the nonsensical “Gak” at random points of speech, although he doesn’t seem to be aware of this flaw. If encountered, Poison Man will make sure to spread the joys of poison in battle, but maybe if you just gave him a dose of his own medicine....
