Because the scope of the Mega Man RPG Prototype is so big, it naturally requires a whole team of sprite artists and editors. Please use these editor threads to review to current list of contributors to the project and apply for specific robots to edit yourself.

This discussion thread relates to the robots masters that appear in NES classic Mega Man 3 and will be updated periodically as new artists are added to the project and/or when new characters are claimed.

SPRITES COMPLETE!
Thanks to the hard work of MetalMarioX100, all Mega Man 3 Robot Masters are complete! I'm so grateful for all the time and effort that you've put into these, and I'm excited to finally add them to the game! If anyone would like to view these robots' sprites in battle, enter the phrase Mega Man 3 Debug into the Demo Mode's password prompt. A hidden debug battle will be unlocked with all 8 of these awesome robot masters for you to fight against!

* At the moment, only the robot masters from Mega Man 1 - Mega Man 6 are being worked on, but others will eventually be needed in the future.

Hello everyone. This is MetalMarioX100, it was a pleasure making these sprites for the game. I hope you all enjoy battling and using them as much as I enjoyed making them. Have fun!

Nice job on the sprites, they look great. I really liked what you did with Gimini, and Hard Man really looked fantastic. So I don't know if you started on anyone form MM5 yet, But I'm gonna start on Punk tonight. Figured If your doing Enker already we could just do all the Mega Man Killers before we start on MM5

Yeah, lets just get those over with as Adrian said that the MM Killers are higher on his priority list than the RMs of 5-6. Thanks again for the compliments.

Thanks for keeping each other informed and doing all this while I'm busy with work - it's really awesome how helpful this community can be! :)

But thank you for the Punk sprite (and for all of the MM3 sprites!) - he looks great and I'm excited to add him to the database! I love the MKN series and they'll make it a lot easier to break up the main missions without so much filler. Still debating if they should be playable/unlockable in the normal way or not, but I have to keep some secrets for the final version of the game. :P

This is all coming together so quickly, and I'm so thankful for everyone's help. ^_^ Next up, the rest of the MM4 sprites from Sean!

Edit: If you were asking ME if you could start on Ballade, sure thing! :D

Mistakes -
Magnet Man:

- My fault again, since the original sheet. I left a unerased white spot in all my 'victory sprites' right in between his raised hand and his 'audio receiver' if you want to get technical.

Hello again. I've fixed all the unerased white spots in Magnet Man's sheet, and I also swapped out his colours a bit to make him more red and less pink/purple. I also swapped his shading around in the right-facing sprites to make it more correct - hope that's alright. Let me know if all is good again if you get a chance to review. :)

Cool, more red is better than that magenta-ish color from before.
"It's good to have you on the bad side..." Magnet Man
(If you're a fan of the cartoon you know what I'm talking about. :p)

*What about Guts Man? Hint Hint* Though is it an optical illusion to me or is the new red of Magnet Man different than the red of Proto Man? If they are different, I like Proto's red more for Guts Man whenever you get to that.
